Recently returned from travels to Greece, Turkey, northern Ontario, and various other parks and wild places....  Loads of pics.  Loads of fun.
The National Geographic book on Edward S. Curtis is fascinating.  He was a very complex fellow, the author (Shaw) certainly shows the evolution of Curtis as a man and as a photographer, one gets the sense that Curtis is not what his detractors make him out to be, nor what his apologists would have you believe either.
